Audrey Sung is a Vancouver-born, dedicated and warmhearted 14-year-old emerging musician, currently studying in Crofton House School Vancouver. Since 2024, Audrey Sung has been appointed the president of NOVA branch of Pacific Rim International Music & Education Society (PRIME Society). Audrey has been studying piano since 6 years old, her first guiding teacher is renowned Steinway Artist and RCM Fellow — Edward Han Jiang. Mr. Jiang’s passion and rigor for music influence Audrey. After living in China briefly, Audrey has been under the tutelage of Ms. Eleanor Wong, Dr. Jacqueline Bei-Hua Tang, Professor Liu Shi Kun and Professor Vladimir Viardo.

Audrey has shown prodigious talent ever since her encounter with the piano, winning multiple international competitions within a few years of studying, including the gold prize in the Pacific Rim International Music Festival (PRM) junior category, “Tchaikovsky Memorial Award” of the international youth piano competition concerto group, etc. As the gold prize winner of PRM, Audrey has been invited to perform at the renowned Carnegie Hall in 2019. In 2021, she received the performing diploma -- ARSM from the Royal School of Music. In 2024, Audrey was invited to the 19th Vienna International Music Festival, where she played a recital and gave a concerto performance at the most prestigious golden hall of Musikverein in Vienna, Austria. Her performance in Vienna was hailed by the media as an uncommon success.

As a dedicated young philanthropist, at the age of ten, she showed courage to join the school's team to fight against COVID-19. She not only actively participated in distributing supplies in the community, but also donated her charity funds to support pandemic organizations. Audrey was described as “the youngest pandemic star” by the prominent Hong Kong media.

In 2022 September 21st, Audrey has honorably donated her assorted performance winnings. Her generous donation of $30,000 CAD will fund the development of Canadian music education in her home country. Audrey hopes that the fund will create more opportunities for other aspiring musicians to continue to master their musical skills and love of music. This event has gathered great attention from the media, including CTV national, CTV Vancouver, Phoenix Satellite Television North America, all reporting on this grand event. In July of 2024, she was invited by the Rijnlands Lyceum Oegstgeest to perform a charity concert at the Kasteel Duivenvoorde on July 5th, which raised 15,000 euros for Local-Heroes Netherlands, a school project in Kenya. Her performance and charity event received widespread acclaim from music professionals and philanthropists and was extensively covered by the local mainstream media.
